7 months

Hello again. Its been another month already. Jeremy is now 8 months old! Can you believe that. Before you know it we are going to need to start planning his 1 year birthday party. How exciting!!! Jeremy is getting so big. He is starting to do so much. The main thing that he started doing this month was talking. It was like he started it over night. He literally started in his crib in the middle of the night. I guess he was talking to his bears. Of course his 1st word was 'dada'. Daniel is loving that. He is constantly saying it. We are still working on 'mama':( Jeremy also got 2 teeth this month. He looks so cute. (I took some pics that you can see below). He is still not crawling but he sits on his own and he gets around in other ways. He is a pro at rolling. He also scoots around. Daniel and I really don't think that he will crawl. I think he is going to skip that step. We cannot keep him sitting down. He always wants to be standing up. Before we know it, he will be walking. We are really looking forward to that. Jeremy is still a very happy baby. If he is not laughing, he is smiling. I have posted a video of him laughing. It is so hilarious.
I also posted some pics of Jeremy's visit to his great-grandparents house. (as you can see he is so spoiled with them). We also took him to take pics last month. Hopefully you all received some pics in the mail. I have posted all the pics that he took that day so if there are any other poses that you want just let us know. We just wanted to let you all know that we love you all so very much!!! We hope to see you real soon. If you live in the San Antonio area, we will be down there in April. We cant wait to see yall!!! Much LOVE The Floyd Family.

Jeremy's 1st...

Hello all!!! This has been a very busy month for us. Jeremy had a lot of firsts this month. One of his big accomplishments was eating baby food!!! It didn't take him long to conquer this mission. We started him with cereal, then vegetables. We waited to do fruits last since they are sweet and for some odd reason we had the hardest time to get Jeremy to eat his fruits. Another 1st this month is Jeremy experienced death in the family. His Great-Great-Grandma past away on Feb 8th. Jeremy got to have one last talk with Nannie before she past. It was very sad and hard to see her go but we know that she is in no more pain and in a better place. Now this first we hope is his last. Jeremy got a mild case of RSV. It was not fun but Jeremy cooperated really well with the medicine. He didn't fight us at all with the breathing treatment. The dr said it could take up to 6 weeks to completely get better but Jeremy was better in less than a week. Lets just pray that he will not get sick again. He also has been teething really bad. You can see 2 on the bottom coming up and 1 on the top. We will post pics as soon as they are out. I almost forgot another very important 1st. Jeremy got his 1st haircut!!! He looks so much better. Daniel finally gave in because he was tired of everyone calling him a girl. he definitely looks like a little boy now. i am going to post a before and after. These were all accomplishments during his 6th month. I will post some more fun pics of Jeremy. He continues to get so big. He is still waving bye and he has just started to clap when we say YEA!!! He still isn't crawling but he rolls or scoots to where ever he needs to go. He stands up a lot, though. I think he is going to skip the crawling. I will post a video of him waving, eating and just having fun with his daddy. Much love to all!!! ttyl
